Co-wash Day! Co-Wash Regimen

I have decided to add regular co-washes to my healthy hair regimen. At first I did not want to wash twice in one week because I did not want to use that much heat (i.e. blow dry, flat iron). But now I will stick with roller sets and air dry for awhile. I hardly wear my real hair out (unless the top and sides for when I rock my clip in weave pieces). I will wear my pieces curly to blend with my roller set hair. Whenever I air dry, I will wear wigs for the week. Now I don't have to worry about getting my hair super straight with a flat iron.

My Co-Wash Regimen Includes:

- co wash hair with VO5 conditioner (some of my favorite hair listas swear by Herbal Essence Hello Hydration but its too thick for my tastes)
- deep condition for 1 hr. (I used a Silk Elements moisturized DC packet), I have a few options for DC and    like to switch it up every week, alternating between a moisturizing and protein DC.
- ACV rinse (1/4 cup to 2 cups of water)- 3x's
- rinse hair with cold water
- Giovanni leave in conditioner with grape-seed oil added
- Apply ORS setting lotion for a roller set

Books Worth Reading...

Books that I am Currently Reading:
I am starting the New Day series by Christian author E.N. Joy. I ordered the books from my local library and cannot wait to begin. I have been in graduate school for over 2 years so my pleasure reading has been limited to during school breaks only. I am a lover of books, since I was a child, and cannot wait to read and Blog my reviews.

Wash Day with Creme of Nature Argon Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

12/21- So I finally found the Creme of Nature Argo Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. I have been looking everywhere for it. I found it at Walgreens in Euclid, OH. Walgreens was advertising the set on their website but only at select stores. The select stores being "urban" stores. Anyway, I love this set. It is sulfate free (which I did not realize but am very happy about) so it is not harsh on my hair. There is not much lather until the 3rd shampoos (which is expected from sulfate-free shampoo). The shampoo in itself is VERY MOISTURIZING! Its like I don't even need the conditioner, but I used it anyway. I love these 2 products so much I may invest in the other products in the line (Oil Sheen, gloss, leave-in conditioner, etc.) Afterwards I blow-dried (alternating between hot and cool shots), M/S, and have been wigging (wearing wigs) ever since. I am sticking with protective styles for the remainder of winter.
